From Sam: We met Sophomore year at Siena College and I remember the first time we hung out. I couldn't believe that someone could talk as much as he did. Truthfully, after that night, I didn't want to ever hang out with him again. However, we did. We started dating the Spring of Senior year and I don't think either of us thought we had found the person we were meant to spend our lives with. But one day leading up to graduation, I remember him tucking me into bed after a night of partying and thought to myself, "I love this person." Thank god I'm as persistent and patient *I am sure he will say annoying* as I am because here we are today engaged and planning our wedding! I couldn't imagine my life without Rick and can't wait to spend the rest of my life loving and annoying him. From Rick: One night Sophomore year, I went into my friends room to see if he wanted to walk to the gas station with me; he said no. I looked and saw Sam standing there asked if she wanted to take a walk. We ended up walking to the gas station together and I wouldn't stop talking, typical me. After that night, I wondered if I would ever see her again because I didn't get her number. About a year went by, and when I came home from studying abroad I saw her again. We instantly connected and began hanging out. Heading into Senior year, her and I would text each other and catch up on how our summers were going. I remember moving into our townhouses and Sam wasn't able to get rid of me. Conveniently, I lived a few doors down from her. She had learn to tolerate my loud voice echoing throughout the square. Throughout senior year, Sam I became really close friends and soon started dating. As I look back on this wonderful journey all I can think about is how lucky I am to have found such amazing person to stand by side. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
