Dough Zone is the best affordable dinner or lunch in the area! Lots of new items to try if you haven't had steam buns, bao buns and more. Sam and René visit at least two times a month to get their fix.
Diablo Lake
If you haven't visited Lake Diablo, it is a must on your visit! Sam and René typically visit during the weekend for a day trip. Another spot where they love to enjoy a picnic and inflatable kayaks! Directions: Drive east on the North Cascades Highway (SR 20) for 20 miles to the Gorge Lake Bridge. Cross the bridge, and continue for another 1.5 miles, then turn left onto Diablo Dam Road. The road will be signed for the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center. Stay on the road and cross the dam, and in a little more than a mile you will arrive at the end of the road and the trailhead. Trailhead Coordinates: 48.7206, -121.1216
Woodinville Wine Country
Sam and René's favorites are DeLille, Dusted Valley, and Isenhower. Sam's favorite wine is DeLille's Chaleur Blanc!

Bainbridge Island is a ferry trip away from Seattle! The island has lots to discover - from quaint bakeries to the Bloedel Reserve, and even grain to glass distilleries. There is something for everyone to enjoy.
