Rashadd & Samantha met in the 7th grade in 2000 at Titchfild High School in Portland Jamaica. One day we were walking past each other going to our separate classes and we locked eyes on each other, it was something at first sight. We never stated to anyone or to each other that we were dating because it was forbidden and we were children. We just knew we liked each other and we were also friends, and at the time that was enough for both of us. “According to Samantha, Rashadd always harassed her "almost everyday I would buy a Tiki and as soon as he saw me with it he would walk up to me and break off a piece and walk away.”According to Rashadd’ “Samantha was always sweet to me, unfortunately she migrated to the US and I missed our friendship". We asked the couple, “Whats so unique about your love?” Unanimously, they stated “Our love is destined. Samantha migrated to the U.S after the eight grade, we would communicate a few times over the years but it was limited. However, we always kept each other in our hearts. However, after nine years, eight months and seven days we were united once again and if felt as if all we needed was time. We feel we were destined to be with each other. Our love is very special , different, and sweet and we wouldn’t change it because we know its our DESTINY!
