Amanda Sykes
Matron of Honor
Amanda is Samantha's older sis (by 14 years) and has been her built-in BFF since birth! She is the ultimate superwoman. She has been married to Brent Sykes for 16 years and has 5 children (three of the kiddos are triplets)! They currently live in Oklahoma City. She serves as the Administrative Coordinator at Kingsview Church and is the school counselor at Victory Family School. Amanda has also directed fellowship bible study over the last 10 years. She is a mentor and friend to many. In addition to her busy family life, she wrangles 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 1 bunny. Amanda and Samantha also share the same beloved alma mater, Austin College (classes of 2003 and 2016).
Bridget Tesher
Maid of Honor
Bridget and Samantha met on the first day of graduate school in Kansas City and have been best friends ever since! Bridget is originally from outside of Chicago (Tinley Park, Illinois). She is the oldest daughter of five children (all two years apart!). She is the daughter of the world-famous Mary Frances Tesher (another superwoman) and Bob Tesher. She is a family medicine physician with Carle Health in Peoria, Illinois. She and her fiance, Zach Skulte, are getting married in October of 2026. Since Samantha and Bridget met, there hasn't been an exam or dance floor they haven't dominated together. Their happy place is anywhere together (with an espresso martini)!
Brenna Villines

Brenna is the younger sister of Phillip. She was raised in Beggs, Oklahoma before attending Oklahoma State University and obtaining a degree in engineering. She and her husband Cameron live outside of Dallas, TX. She is an outstanding mom of two girls (our flower girls), with a sweet baby on the way! Brenna and Cameron love being active in their church and spending time with family.
Paige Sykes
Bridesmaid
Paige is the oldest niece of Samantha. She is the beloved oldest sister of the Sykes crew of 5! She was Samantha's first "baby" and holds a very special place in her heart. She is a rising sophomore at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas where she is an integrated marketing and communications major. She is also set to study abroad in Ireland later this year. She hopes to eventually go into journalism or public relations. She is a friend to many and keeps her aunt very hip. She loves to spend time with her friends and explore NWA.
Justin Barrett
Groomsman
Justin is a native of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He has worked alongside Phillip as chief veterinary technician for several years and has been described by many as "the glue of the clinic." He is the president of the Oklahoma Stock Dog Association. He has travelled all over the country with this role. He also has extensive experience in coaching border collies and other working dogs on how to maneuver and herd livestock. He has been married to his wife, Ashleigh, for 8 years. They have one daughter named Aly with another baby on the way. He is very active in their church in Sapulpa. He loves spending time with his family and friends.
Kyle Goodacre

Kyle and Phillip met while at daycare in Beggs, Oklahoma, and they have been best friends ever since! Like Phillip, Kyle attended Beggs Public Schools his entire life. Kyle has a background in welding and power plant management. He lives in Luther with his wife Morgan. They have one son.
Josephine Sykes
Junior Bridesmaid
Josephine is the niece of Samantha Curran and a triplet. She will be 13 years old in October but has always been an old soul! She is the most well-read person in our *entire* family and has the most witty sense of humor. Her hobbies include reading 3 books at once and lounging in her slippers. For the last 5+ years, she has also been a devoted rabbit mom. She also loves going to church, crafts, and spending time with her family. She would like me to reiterate that she is NOT outdoorsy.
Elinor Sykes
Junior Bridesmaid
Elinor is Samantha's niece and is the oldest of the Sykes triplets. She is a STAR volleyball player and is very busy travelling and competing. She has been taller than her aunt for the last 3 to 5ish years. She loves going to church and learning about Jesus. She loves FULL glam and all things makeup/shopping. She loves to "love" on those around her and is a friend to many.
Punam Mulji
House Party
Punam and Samantha met in grad school in Kansas City, Missouri. Samantha, Punam, and Bridget (MOH) were THE trio! Punam is a true Southern Belle. She is originally from Greenville, South Carolina but came to Oklahoma for medical residency. Samantha tells her that she is officially an Okie! Punam is an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She is currently a family medicine resident in Talahina, OK with plans to become a hospital doctor.
Angela Clifton Mumford
House Party
Angela and Samantha met while in the same residency class at OSU Medical Center. She is originally from Bethany, Oklahoma. She is now a hospitalist at OU in Oklahoma City. Throughout residency (and beyond), Angela was a constant force of support and joy. She is married to Chris, a nephrology/critical care nurse practitioner. They welcomed their son, Marcus Mumford, in June!
Taryn Haney
House Party
Samantha and Taryn met during medical residency when Taryn was her senior resident in the ICU. Taryn immediately took Samantha under her wing (which was needed due to Sam being on the struggle bus) and the two ended up sticking together! Taryn went on to serve as Chief Resident of OSU Medical Center, overseeing every residency program in the hospital. She is now an internal medicine physician with Warren Clinic in Tulsa. She is also board-certified in HIV medicine. Taryn and her husband, Josh, live in Tulsa.
Dr. Brayden Buss

Dr. Buss is currently the lead pastor at FBC Okmulgee. Dr. Buss and Phillip have been friends their whole life, both growing up in Beggs, OK. Prior to returning to FBC, Brayden served churches in Arkansas, North Carolina, and other parts of Oklahoma. Brayden has a Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Education Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Lauren live on a small farm with their four children.
