Our story began in June of 2022 when we decided to go on a real date after chatting on Hinge. Pat decided to take us to his favorite bar in Somerville where we shared lots of awkward high fives over bird-themed drinks from that month’s unique menu. We connected quickly over our mutual love for horror movies and everything weird. Fast forward to August of 2023 we decided to move in together. We merged our lives (and our cats) and started the best little family. Over the following years we went on many trips, tons of trivia nights and loads of karaoke. On a random Tuesday in July of 2025 Pat decided it was time to pop the question. He took us out to the bar we had our first date at and called ahead to see if they had the menu from our first date from June of 2022 (and they did!). He proposed and we had a wonderful couple that had actually gotten married in that same bar congratulate us and buy us champagne (BakBar in Somerville is the spot for romance I guess!). We also had a close friend in disguise filming the whole thing (shout out to Sarah and her baseball cap).
