Alyssa Ross

Matron of Honor

Alyssa is my college roommate turned best friend/soulmate. Alyssa was an Alpha Phi with me and we shared room 306 in the sorority house. Despite going through our most rigorous academic year, we still went to bed every night giggling with a new inside joke. Right off the bat we were attached at the hip and have been ever since. Alyssa is a graphic designer (which is very helpful during the wedding planning process) and is married to Matt Schefcik. Alyssa is also a proud dog mom to Stevie.

Kennedy Kluthe

Maid of Honor

During rush freshman year of college, I decided that Kennedy was going to be my friend and we have been friends ever since. We took virtually every class together in our undergrad at UNK, and now we attend medical school at UNMC together. We've shared many deep talks and girls' nights out (we are suckers for margaritas). Kennedy is engaged to Corbin Johnson, who is also one of Nate's groomsmen. They recently adopted a sweet golden doodle, Winston.

Cassie Gowen

Bridesmaid

Cassie was my big in Alpha Phi. She was so welcoming when I transitioned to college and made me feel so loved. She joined the cheerleading squad at UNK after some convincing and we got to spend early morning practices and game days together. Cassie shares my love for decorating and shopping, and I love our days spent walking around the mall or antique shops. Cassie is married to Treygan Gowen and they share Gibby the golden retriever.

Elizabeth McKnight

Bridesmaid

Elizabeth was my first real best friend. I transferred to Fremont High School from Trinity Lutheran and did not know very many people. Elizabeth took me under her wing, invited me to everything she did, and always had my back. We ran cross country, sang in the choir, and took up rollerskating together. We frequented Dairy Queen for their chicken strips and blizzards before visiting my Mimi's and Papa's to hold their kittens. Elizabeth is married to Zach McKnight and living in Kansas City.
