Dressy Casual Attire! A balance between formal and casual. For women-sundresses, dressy jumpsuits/rompers, cocktail dresses. For men-dress pants/slacks, polos, button down shirts. Suit jacket and tie are not required.
Yes! We will have a shuttle bus provided starting at The Country Inn and Suites Cottage Grove to Hope Glen Farm before the ceremony! Also during and after the reception, we will have time slots back to the Country Inn and Suites from Hope Glen Farm. The Shuttle to the wedding venue from the hotel will leave at 4:00 sharp! Return shuttles to the hotel are 10:30p.m. & 11:30p.m.
Yes, there is free parking onsite at Hope Glen Farm. If you need to leave your car overnight, it will need to be picked up by 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning
While we love to watch the children run and play, this is an adults only kind of day. We hope you will understand our decision to make our day kid-free, and take the opportunity to celebrate and let loose!
Guests can begin to arrive at 4:00 p.m. Ceremony starts at 4:30 p.m.
We will have some small snacks during cocktail hour! Dinner will be served buffet style by our caterer, This Little Piggy. We will also be serving late night Carbone’s pizza.
We will have open bar all night! Cocktails, beer, wine and seltzers. Pop, water, lemonade and coffee will also be provided. Please bring cash to tip the bartenders and server!
Both! We are planning to have our ceremony and cocktail hour outside (weather permitting) everything can be moved indoors if needed. Dinner will be held in the pavilion and dancing in the barn!
Yes! Uber and Lyft can both safely get you home from Hope Glen Farm.
Yes, we have a block of rooms reserved at The Country Inn and Suites in Cottage Grove. It is a 7 minute drive to the venue with a shuttle bus provided to and from Hope Glen Farm. Although we don’t have another block of rooms booked, there are other hotels in the area including The Hampton Inn-Woodbury and Holiday Inn Express-Inver Grove Heights. Both are a 14 min drive to Hope Glen Farm.
We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation for the ceremony and dinner. If you would like to bring a plus one, they are more than welcome to join us for the reception starting around 7:30 p.m. Thank you for understanding.
