Downtown Saint Paul is full of things to do no matter the time of day. Take a walk around West 7th St or up on Cathedral Hill where you will find a wide array of restaurants and shops.

Wabasha Street Caves

Tours are available including the St. Paul Gangster Tour which is a favorite of the couple. You can book reservations online. These street caves have been silica mines, a mushroom farm, speakeasy (frequently visited by notorious gangsters) and much more!

James J. Hill House

The James J. Hill house is a National Historic Landmark. This 36,500 square foot mansion, completed in 1891, was home to the Hill family. Cathedral of Saint Paul

The Cathedral was built in 1915 and houses many hidden historical items such as a plaque on the spot President Kennedy sat for Mass one time or a stone that was from the castle that last held St. Joan of Arc prior to her martyrdom. The Cathedral is a national shrine to which Catholics from around to world make pilgrimages to every year. You could also take a virtual tour to prepare for the beauty you will experience prior to the wedding ceremony. Sunday Mass times are 5:15pm (Saturday vigil - anticipatory), 8:00am, 10:00am, 12:00am, and 5:00pm
