Wabasha Street Caves
Tours are available including the St. Paul Gangster Tour which is a favorite of the couple. You can book reservations online. These street caves have been silica mines, a mushroom farm, speakeasy (frequently visited by notorious gangsters) and much more!
James J. Hill House
The James J. Hill house is a National Historic Landmark. This 36,500 square foot mansion, completed in 1891, was home to the Hill family. You are sure to find something in this house that you will love! Fun Fact: Mike took Sam on this tour the day they got engaged Tour hours and reservations can be found online
The St. Paul Grill
A favorite of the couple. Excellent food, long pours, and the finest selection of scotches, whiskeys and bourbons, and critically acclaimed wine list. Fun Fact: Mike took Sam here for dinner the night he proposed, and the couple enjoyed their first drink at the bar as a newly engaged couple.
The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra
World renowned chamber orchestra. Fun Fact: Mike took Sam here on the night he proposed. The piece performed was "The Four Season" by Vivaldi, which was also the first performance they attended together when they began dating.
Cathedral of Saint Paul
The Cathedral was built in 1915 and houses many hidden historical items such as a plaque on the spot President Kennedy sat for Mass one time or a stone that was from the castle that last held St. Joan of Arc prior to her martyrdom. The Cathedral is a national shrine to which Catholics from around to world make pilgrimages to every year. You could also take a virtual tour to prepare for the beauty you will experience prior to the wedding ceremony. Sunday Mass times are 5:15pm (Saturday vigil - anticipatory), 8:00am, 10:00am, 12:00am, and 5:00pm

Stop in the market to grab a treat or grab lunch or dinner at the eatery. Your mouth will be watering just looking at all the delicious fresh pastries, sweets, breads, cheeses and meats. Herb Brooks, a native of St. Paul, was a former player and coach at the University of Minnesota. He won three national championships in his seven seasons as head coach of the Golden Gophers. However, he is most well known as the head coach of the gold medal-winning U.S Olympic hockey team, also known as "Miracle on Ice".
