As fate would have it, Sam grew up right around the corner from Malvern. As many of you know, Mike attended Immaculata University which landed him in the Philadelphia area after college. Through the years, Mike unknowingly hung out around the area Sam grew up in. One afternoon in March, Sam and her cousin decided to go to Guppy’s Good Times to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend. With a little luck of the Irish, Mike happened to be there the same day and their worlds finally collided. A few weeks later, they went on their first date to Barcelona Wine Bar in South Philly and the rest is history!

If anyone knows Sam, you know she doesn’t like surprises or secrets! She also scrolls Find My Friends on her iPhone like it’s her job. Even though Sam tried every possible way to sneak a peek at the ring or find out the plan, Mike surprised her with a romantic engagement moment on Graveling Point Beach in Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey. As many of you know, the festivities didn’t stop there. Soon after the engagement, Mike had their families, future Maid & Matron of Honor & Best Man waiting at the house. Sam’s best friend, Baylee, even figured out a way to change their locations so Sam didn’t think anyone was in town! There was an amazing surprise party at their family’s shore house the next day and the party continued with Mike taking Sam to the Eagles home opener! It was such a special weekend that they will remember forever!
