Matthew and I met online! One day I was browsing facebook, scrolling through when I noticed a cute guy pop up in the people you may know. Curiosity got the best of me and I decided to check him out. I was thinking to myself, he seems fun, goofy, and sweet. I would love to add him but we only had one mutual friend. I was extremely nervous and decided not to add him. A week goes by and I log into facebook to see that I had a friend request from Matthew! The cute guy I was too scared to add, added me! In that moment I knew I had nothing to loose. I went onto his page, messaged him, and simply said Hi I'm Sam!

I am a very lucky lady, not only did I get one proposal, I got two! First Proposal: Matthew and I not only live together, we work together at The Crazy Gringo. One night in December I was hanging out with my cousins Olivia and Brooke when Matt decides to pull me into the bathroom to talk in private. We were planning on going up north for Christmas. Since we work together we both had to get approval for the time off. Matthew was so excited about our time off getting approved he wanted to show me the text. Full of excitement he completely forgot he had told our manager we needed the time off because Matthew wanted to propose to me up north. I was full of confusion and shock. I was thinking is this real? Does he even realize what he is showing me? Instantly he knew he made a huge mistake and we both started crying. He was crying because he messed up and I was crying because I was so happy that the man I love wanted to marry me! Matthew then dropped to one knee holding an invisible ring and asked If I would marry him! Of course I said yes! I told him only a special man could get a woman to say yes in a bathroom! Second Proposal: About two weeks had gone by and now it was Christmas Eve. We had plans to celebrate the night with Matthew's family downriver. As I was getting ready in the kitchen I noticed that one of our songs started playing throughout the house. I turn around and see Matthew standing in the kitchen with a big grin on his face. That is when he told me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. Dropping to one knee again, this time with a little black box I knew this was the official proposal. When he opened the box inside was the most beautiful emerald green ring. I said yes, again!
