The attire for our special day is black tie optional. You are welcome to wear a tux or gown, but suits and long cocktail dresses are perfectly acceptable. All of the events will be outside on the water overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. The cocktail hour and reception are directly next to the ceremony.
Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the ceremony begins. Seating for the ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm, with the ceremony starting promptly at 6:00 pm. We would like to take all of the family pictures prior to the ceremony. If you are extended family, please arrive to the Lawn at 5:00 pm for pictures.
While we are hopeful it will be sunny, we have made accommodations for events to occur under the tent.
Please RSVP on our wedding website in the RSVP section by May 16, 2025. The RSVP section will be available after our wedding invitations are mailed to you in April 2025.
Yes! A shuttle will be taking guests to and from the Inn at Herrington Harbour and the waterfront. The shuttle will be taking guests from the Inn to the ceremony at 5:10 pm and 5:25 pm. The shuttle will be taking guests from the reception back to the Inn at 10:00 pm, 10:30 pm, and 11:00 pm.
Of course! For those who are not taking the shuttle, there is plenty of parking available at the Chesapeake Lawn. You are also welcome to walk around the marina from the Inn to the Lawn. The ceremony and reception are only 1 mile from the Inn at Herrington Harbour.
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception.
