Our love story started as most modern day love story's do, with an Instagram DM. To give a little back story, our paths had crossed over the years twice post college, due to having some mutual friends. Years passed and one fine evening, Luke is sitting at Danny Haskell's with Miguel and sees Sam walk in with some girlfriends. Luke admired Sam from a far, but did not say anything to Sam that night. Later, Luke ended up reaching out to Sam on Instagram and sparked up a conversation asking her how she liked her gym she was going to at the time. Little did we know, that simple conversation starter changed the trajectory of both of our lives. One DM, turned into a first date in May 2024 at Estabrook Beer Garden, later foreshadowing where we would get engaged in January 2026. Truly from that first date on, the rest has been history. We were genuinely swept up off of our feet and the adventure of Luke & Sam began. The "I love you's" and talks about forever, were very quick to follow. You know what they say- when you know, you know- and that's exactly how it is for us.
