Where should I stay?

Answer

For our out of town guests, we recommend staying in the Rockwall area! There are plenty of hotels/inns to choose from.

When does the event begin?

Answer

The ceremony Mass will begin at 2:00 pm, but you can arrive as early as 1:45 pm! The reception will be held at a different location & will begin at 5:00 pm. The reception venue is 23 miles away from the Church and is about a 27 minute drive!

Do I need to wear a mask & social distance?

Answer

Masks are strongly requested to be worn by those who are not fully vaccinated at the Church & the venue! Last Updated 27JULY21 (:

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a professional photographer at the Mass! We encourage our guests to turn off their cellphones during the Mass to be in the moment with us and let the pros do their job! We will later post our photos on our website and social media! But, if you must take your own photos, Fr. Joseph has asked to turn off your flash.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome at both the Mass and reception. We just ask that you keep an eye on your littles ones to ensure their safety throughout the night. There is a pool and fire pit in the outdoor areas! Since the pool will not be in use, there will be no lifeguard on duty.

What is the alcohol policy?

Answer

There will be alcohol provided 🍻 until supplies last! Feel free to bring your own preferred alcohol! Please have an arranged DD (designated driver) & absolutely NO under age drinkers!!

What is the smoking policy?

Answer

Smoking is prohibited inside the venue, but smoking is permitted in the outdoor areas of the venue. There will be designated ash tray buckets to dispose of cigarette butts.

Will the reception be inside or outside?

Answer

Our reception will be held inside. However, there are outdoor areas of the venue such as a fire pit & bench swings. Bathrooms are also located outside the main reception area in a separate building.

What should I wear?

Answer

The weather can range from warm to cool to rainy here in October. Just be sure you check the weather to ensure you are comfortable since the the bathrooms are located outside the reception in a separate building!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

Of course we will miss your presence on our special day, but we totally understand! Covid is still very much a thing & we wouldn’t want anyone to be uncomfortable. Please let us know if you aren’t able to attend & we will note it (:
