We met playing lacrosse at Fairleigh Dickinson University. We had been talking for about two months and Sam was visiting Kevin's friends and family in Freehold, NJ for the weekend. Kevin's best friend's mom, Mrs. Horan, said "it's so nice to meet your girlfriend" and he had no choice but to make it official.

We were planning a trip for over a year to see Bruce Springsteen (very "New Jersey" of us) in Dublin, Ireland. Kevin had other plans in mind then just seeing The Boss. Kevin told Sam that his family wanted to take family photos, so when we landed, we got ready for the photos. We were dropped off with the photographer and we took some couple shots. During one of the shots, Kevin got down on one knee. YAY! The best of it all was that Kevin had Sam's parents fly to Ireland and surprise her! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
