What do you need us to do to attend?
Answer
The most important are: 1. RSVP to all events please! 2. Plan to take a COVID test the day of the wedding. It is very important to us to provide a safe and relaxing environment for everyone. All guests having a negative COVID test is a key piece to achieving that goal. Thank you for your help!

What do you mean there’s a book exchange?
Answer
On tables in the reception space, we will have a copy of each of the books we have read together (so far!). Sharing these books together has started so many fun and interesting conversations and we value the surprising interactions we’ve had even just on the subway with other readers. These moments leave us energized! So, we hope you find a book you want to take home. We would love for this to be a wider exchange. Even if you no longer read, but you remember a book from your childhood that has stuck with you, we encourage you to bring a copy. Or you have a book your child will not let you stop reading to them, bring a copy for another family to enjoy. Or you read a lot and can’t choose, bring a few. If you want to add a note inside to tell people why it’s good or what it’s meant to you, that’s lovely as well! The books will be out and around the room. Take one or a few, leave one or a few. We thank you for helping us create a little temporary library.

The Brooklyn Navy yard is across the street from our venue. Below are possible travel options to get to the venue location: CAR: Use 63 Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205 for GPS navigation to the Yard. Parking inside the Yard is limited. On-street and metered parking are available outside of the Yard on Flushing Avenue and on many of the adjacent streets. Non-metered parking is available underneath the BQE along Park Avenue. NYC FERRY: The Astoria Route stops at the Yard’s Dock 72. Use this link to see map and schedule information: https://www.ferry.nyc/routes-and-schedules/astoria/ SUBWAY/ BUS: The venue is not located directly next to a train station so if you are traveling by train expect to take a short bus ride or a 10-20 minute walk to the venue. The closest train stations to the venue are: 1) Flushing Ave ( G train): Take B57 toward Red Hook Ikea Terminal 2) Clinton Washington (G train) Take B69 toward Downtown Brooklyn Sands 3) York Street ( F train) Take B62 toward LI City Queens Plaza or Take B57 toward Maspeth Fresh Pond Rd 4) Jay Street- MetroTech ( A,C,F,N,R,W) Take B57 toward Maspeth Fresh Pond Rd 5) Dekalb Ave ( B,D,N,Q,R,W) Take B54 toward Ridgewood Terminal Via Myrtle Ave MTA Bus Lines: 1) B67, B48, B57, B62, B69 all stop within or near the Yard. 2) The B67 bus stops inside the Yard at the Sands Street gate (near Wegmans), on Market Street (across from Building 77) and at the Clymer Street/Kent Ave gate. 3) The B57 and B69 stop outside the Yard at Cumberland Street and Flushing Avenue. 4) The B62 stops outside the Yard at Vanderbilt & Park Avenues and is a one-block walk to Flushing Avenue. 5) The B48 stops outside the Yard at Flushing and Classon Avenues.
