We started texting while we were in the same nursing school, just in different cohorts. At the time, we were both focused on our education and decided to put dating on hold. Even though we stayed in touch, life kept us busy as we worked toward our future careers. Then, over a year after we first started talking, fate stepped in. Out of all the seats at graduation at the Padres stadium, we ended up sitting right next to each other. It felt meant to be. We started talking again, and this time one thing led to another. What began as simple texts between two nursing students has turned into a love story — and now here we are, getting ready to get married. 💛
