Bride
I never imagined life of being married and having a family until I met the most kind human being one day at softball. He had a reputation that had me questioning, "What are you thinking?" But, once I got to know him, I could see through what people had said. I love the life we are building for our family and am thankful for all you do for us. Here is to forever, my love.
Groom
My whole life, I have never imagined someone would love me the way Samantha does. She allows me to be the real me and to show how big my heart truly is. I am so grateful for her; she has given me a different view of life. To forever with our little family, I love you.
Matron of Honor
Michelle is my only sister, the best big sister a girl could ask for. She is an amazing mom who is so selfless. I hope I can be like her one day! She is so smart and driven; I am lucky to call her my best friend. We have many memories together, but one of our favorites is from when we were in school. For context, our Grandma Puana loved dressing us alike; if I got an outfit, Michelle got the same one. In high school, we found ourselves in the same Spanish class. Our teacher struggled to tell us apart and sat us alphabetically; it should not have been hard to determine who was who, but she would pass a group of us in the hall and say hi to all the kids by name, then get to us and say "Hi girls" not knowing who was who. We decided to make things harder for her and change into one of our many matching outfits right before class. Our classmates around us thought it was funny, but the teacher did not. Michelle’s hobbies are scrapbooking, doing any crafts, shopping, and spending time with her family.
Best Man
Nicholas and I have known each other for around 5 years, we met playing softball of course. We were both on a team that we weren't particularly fond of so we decided to start a men's team and won a few cool rings with our team. Even had our ups and downs but have never given up on each other. Thank you for being my brother We share similar hobbies of softball, hanging out and having a few drinks, pool days, and spending time with our family.
Bridesmaid
What can I say about Jordan, she is my oldest niece and happens to be the most driven young lady I have ever known. We have had so many good times together, but softball was our connection. One of her favorite memories one of our softball trips to Oregon. Yes, it was for softball, but it was so much more than that for both of us. We explored one of the most amazing waterfalls; she even got a piggyback ride, and best of all, she got to play the sport we both love freely. Jordan enjoys running, weight lifting, watching movies, reading, trying new coffee, and going to the beach. Her best advice is to figure out how we each give and take love. Sometimes, people forget that love is shared and communicated in different ways.
Groomsman
Sam and I have known each other for a very long time. I lost count, it feels like forever. He has always been like a big brother to me, and always has my back. We played some great ball together, and even though we live in different states, it doesn't stop us from our conversations and great friendship.
Bridesmaid
Lacie is my middle niece, often referenced as my mini-me since she looks a lot like me (acts like me too). One of my favorite memories with Lacie was from our trip to Italy; we had a lot of time together and bonded over gelato. I could not finish my food most of the time, which was great because she enjoyed eating for the both of us. In Venice, the place she was looking forward to seeing most, Lacie got sick and was puking throughout the city (including the steps of the Grand Canal Bridge). Her hobbies are reading, playing guitar, playing with her dogs, and binge-watching shows. Her advice is to lean on each other as much as possible, listen and communicate, and love with all of your heart. Know there is always room for growth in your relationship.
Groomsman
I met Dana on the softball field. When no one gave him a chance I was the one there to give him an opportunity. Now I can't seem to get rid of him, lol. He has become more than just a teammate, but part of my family. I appreciate everything he does.
Bridesmaid
Dakota is my youngest niece. There was quite a big gap, so when I heard the news that I was getting another niece after ten years, I was surprised and excited. Dakota brings so much positivity to the world, and strong is such a strong kiddo. She leaves every difficult situation she faces with a smile. Her hobbies include singing, gymnastics, and playing with her cousin Maddox.
Groomsman
Stevie is my younger brother; I call him Buthead. Having the opportunity to watch him grow is so awesome. I'm so happy to have him in my life. You are growing up way too fast, or maybe I am just getting old!
Groomsman
Miller and I have known each other for almost five years. In that short time, we became family, always checking in with each other. My best memories are of hanging out as big kids, playing tackle, pool, basketball, video keno, and having a drink. His advice is to remember life is too short, so enjoy the good times, always kiss each other goodbye, and tell one another what you mean to them. Never leave or go to bed angry or upset.
Ring Bearer
Maddox Koa is our only child, and is the sweetest little man we could ask for. Although he may not say these words directly, we know he is looking forward to dancing the night away and celebrating our family.
Mother of the Bride
Oh this is a hard one, my mom is the most giving human being that I know. She is the best grandma and always there for all of her family whenever we need her. She enjoys shopping (mostly for her grandkids), country music, watching hallmark movies and traveling.
Father of the Bride
My dad has always been there for me. He coached my softball teams and attended every game he could throughout college. My favorite memory with him was going to the San Diego Zoo when he came to visit me in college; he got a speeding ticket and said, "Don't tell your mom," lol... she did freak out when she found out, though. I love seeing you with your grandson and am the luckiest girl to have you as a dad!
Mother of the Groom
I am so appreciative of everything that Lisa has done for me. She took me in as one of her sons and gave me a place to live when I first moved and had nothing. Though I was stubborn, she helped me through so much and helped me become a better person. I will always think fondly of the Friday nights we would shoot pool and enjoy our night after a long week.
Father of the Groom
My dad is my backbone. When I didn't know what to do, he would show me the way. I'm so grateful that he is in my life again. I was lost and he has shown me how to become a man again. I am so grateful for all that he does for me. My best memory comes from when we would just around the firepit in the backyard, drinking a few beers and talking.
