The RSVP deadline is March 30th, 2025.
The wedding is located in a rural area with no access to public transit, taxis, or ride sharing apps. Please consider carpooling to the venue; parking is available on site and overnight. Feel free to leave your vehicle at the hotel and take the provided shuttle from the RiverRock Inn in Rockland. For detailed directions, please see the below (map).
We encourage our family to discuss accommodations with us before making reservations. Friends and guests are invited to reserve a room at the RiverRock Inn in Rockland. It is approximately 15 minutes from the venue. If you mention our event, you will be placed in the block of rooms reserved for our wedding attendees. A shuttle is provided to and from the hotel for wedding guests.
While the rural area prevents access to public transportation, a shuttle will be provided to the venue from the hotel, and back to the hotel at the end of the night. We encourage guests to carpool, arrange a designated driver, or spend the night in Rockland for the best experience.

Directional signage will be placed past the parking lot to guide you through the venue.
The venue is rustic and outdoors; therefore, pathways and building accesses are flat and accessible, but most often gravel and/or grass. Please plan accordingly.
The ceremony will take place outdoors in the heat of summer. Shade is available in many seating locations but guests should prepare to dress for weather conditions. Stiletto heels are not recommended on the grass. The cocktail hour will be hosted next to the ceremony space in a rustic open barn. Note there is no air conditioning in this location. Dinner will be served in an indoor reception hall with generous air conditioning. This facility will be open after 6:00pm. In case of rain, the ceremony will be moved to the open barn space.
The dress code for our wedding is dressy casual. We want you to be comfortable for this time of year in Ottawa. We gently suggest selecting shoes that are appropriate for grass and outdoor areas. Kindly avoid outfits featuring white out of respect for the brides.
Our registry is built into this website with a variety of options and experiences that would be so appreciated. As we build our life together, we would find tremendous value in contributions to our growing family and/or support for our future home down payment. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift!
The Ottawa area in midsummer is typically extremely hot and humid. It is not unusual for temperatures to exceed 35 degrees Celsius during the day and potentially higher with the humidex.
Guests are invited to arrive at or after 3:30pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm.
Your personalized invitation features your own name as well as any invited partners/guests.
Allergies, dietary restrictions, and personal needs will be noted and accommodated. Your invitation will include an opportunity to RSVP, provide meal selections, and create space for restrictions or requests.
Cocktail hour will feature cold items followed by a sit-down dinner with your selected entree. If you have other dietary considerations or allergies, they can be noted when submitting your online RSVP.
Your presence at our wedding is the best gift. If you would like to honor us with an additional gift, you may have it delivered to our home at 4242 Owl Valley Dr, Ottawa, ON K1V1L7. A wedding card box will be available at the venue.
A late night snack will provided before midnight. We would be thrilled to share our night with you until 1:00am.
There will be an opportunity to take photos at the beginning of the wedding ceremony. Afterwards, we invite you to be fully present with us and allow the talented photographers and videographers to capture the event. Photos and videos are welcomed and encouraged for the preceding and subsequent activities!
We would love to see our favourite day from your perspective. Please feel free to share and tag us in your posts!
