Welcome to our happily ever after

Jerry and Sam had met each other at Jellystone Park where his parents had a seasonal campsite and she had grown up and worked there for many years getting to know all of the amazing people. One day in the fall of 2018, Sam had posted a picture on Facebook of a new outfit she bought and captioned it jokingly with someone needing to take her out so she can wear it again. Jerry private messaged her right away and said he'd love to take her out. They made plans to go to the new Halloween movie at the Phoenix theater and hit it off right away. Sam was not planning on getting into a relationship so soon but once she got to know Jerry better she knew he was her other half. After the movie, Sam nervously made the first move with a kiss under the Tenosi Pump N' Go Sign and almost fell out of Jerry's truck when she left to get into her car. With Jerry's sarcasm and Sam's social awkwardness, it sealed the deal. They dressed up and went out for Halloween that year and were inseparable. Jerry and Sam enjoyed spending quality time going for rides in Jerry's truck, ATV rides, deer hunting, and spending time with friends and family.

Jerry had asked for Kaden's (Sam's oldest son) and her mom's blessing, bought the ring in May 2019, and was waiting for the perfect time to propose. He planned a romantic proposal during his family's photos in October 2019. He had his daughter, Aubrey draw a picture with the words, "Will you marry my daddy?" While Aubrey gave Sam the folded up picture, Jerry was beside her down on one knee. Sam read the note, said YES!, and the rest is history.
