The Co-op feels like the center of Belfast. You can grab a bite to eat there and they have all those specialty foods and drinks that you’d usually find at co-ops and other natural foods markets. I always make it a point to stop there when I’m in the area. -Sam
Chase’s Daily is a small bakery/restaurant in Belfast. They use local foods and make delicious meals and snacks. YUM! -Sam
Okay, so I’ve only ever had Moonbat’s delicious confections while working at Villageside Farm in Freedom because a lovely farm friend worked there and brought us occasional treats! They also have limited hours so I haven’t been able to catch them open yet. Anyway, if you’re staying in the area for a bit or want a sweet road snack, I highly recommend them! -Sam
If you like a good farmers’ market, check out this one in Belfast. You’re in for a treat. Open Saturdays 9am-1pm. -Sam
The harbor walk is the sidewalk that connects with our reception venue at the boathouse. If you walk all the way down the harbor, you’ll find yourself at a beautiful footbridge. Jared and I love a good walk next to the ocean... So soothing. -Sam
I actually haven’t stopped in here yet, but I want to! It’s a sweet store where you can find Maine made and Maine themed gifts. -Sam
For my fellow knitters/crocheters! Heavenly Yarns was recommended to me when I moved to the area. Lovely selections, and of course there are locally made options! I can knit a scarf, so I’m pretty proud of that. -Sam
Enjoy a nice easy walk along this 2.2 mile trail along the river <3 -Sam
When in Maine, eating lobst-ah is the thing to do, right? Youngs Lobster pound is apparently famous for their lobster rolls. Strike your fancy? Give it a try! -Sam
To enjoy the lovely green spaces... -Sam
This is a typical slightly overpriced kind of pub with good food, but Jared loves one of their blueberry alcoholic drinks so that’s why I’m adding this restaurant. Blanking on the name of the drink, but it’s got blueberry vodka and lemonade in it! Sweet but tasty. -Sam
