We welcome families with kids who are attending Mass but are unable to attend the Adult Only Reception to join us for a small reception with a kid-friendly menu & adult-friendly drinks, to follow the Mass. We also welcome any in-laws, babysitters, friends you brought to support with childcare to join for snacks and drinks after the Mass.

ADULT ONLY RECEPTION; Our reception venue is about a 0.2 mile walk from the Basilica. The Basilica and reception venue also offer parking and there is plenty of space if you choose to drive or aren't staying downtown! The Hilton Garden Inn Asheville offers a shuttle from lobby to downtown if needed. **Please note that our venue style is indoor/outdoor and set-up very 'mix & mingle' for our event. Given our desire to have all of you with us in the space, we have opted for less tables/seats and more room to move & groove. Please keep this in mind when choosing your shoes/packing. There will not be a formal seating arrangement. We will ensure that seating is available for those who need or desire it throughout the evening.
