The Sugarbush Health & Recreation Center is the resort's health and fitness facility. If you're looking to work up a sweat, they offers cardio equipment, free weights, assorted fitness classes, indoor tennis courts, pickleball, racquetball, and half-court basketball. If you're looking to relax, rejuvenate with a massage (call for appointment options), swim in the indoor pool, or unwind in the hot tub, sauna, or steam room.
Grab your friends and challenge yourselves by playing one of Jake's favorites - disc golf! Sugarbush’s Disc Golf Course features a total of 18 holes in the base area and through the woods among the lower trails.
Less than an hour drive from Sugarbush, immerse yourself in fall with some good old fashioned apple picking! While you're there, grab a hard (or non-alcoholic) cider at the Cider Garden and relax at the fire pits, play lawn games, or stroll through the orchard for views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack's!
If you're looking for some amazing views of gorgeous Vermont, consider hiking up Camel's Hump! The peak is, in fact, shaped like a hump of a camel, with two humps, the southern one being the highest. The summit offers great panoramic views in all directions. It's about 45 minute drive from Sugarbush, and around 3+ hours to the top and back, so just make sure you budget enough time!
Sammi grew up visiting her mom's side of the family in Middlebury, VT a few times a year, and she loved it so much she decided to go to college there! If you have the time, head to Middlebury and you'll see why Sammi fell in love with it! Tour the beautiful campus, then walk down main street and pick one of her favorite restaurants to stop at for a bite - Two Brothers Tavern, Mister Ups, Noonie's Deli... you can't go wrong - before heading to Woodchuck Cider House!
Head to Burlington to check out where Jake hung out in college (and where Sammi also frequented... wonder if they ever crossed paths!). Church Street is full of shopping and restaurants - Sammi would recommend The Skinny Pancake, and Jake would recommend The Farmhouse Tap & Grill - including Ben & Jerry's! We'd also highly recommend visiting Zero Gravity Brewery, Switchback Brewing Company, and/or Citizen Cider!
