Tammy (aka TT)

Matron of Honor

My sister, aka TT, which comes from me not being able to pronounce Tammy as a kid. She will forever be TT even at 38 years old! She’s the cool sister! Growing up we shared a love for cheerleading; she was even my cheer coach! We were subject to our parents yearly homemade Halloween costumes and costume contests—I blame them for my need to make my costume every year as an adult. We now bond over crafts, killing plants, and our mutual hate for bangs. She lives in New Jersey with her husband Paul, her daughter Lily, her step children, and her very tired, lazy, human-like English bulldog Bosco!

Shaina

Maid of Honor

Shaina and I met in high school. We dated the Aarons (two best friends both named Aaron). We bonded over crafts and having to deal with the Aarons always talking about cars. Oh, and can’t forget the never ending trips to O’Reilly auto parts store! Although we’ve consistently lived 3+ hours away from each other since we went to college, we’ve remained great friends. Always picking up where we left off when we do get to see each other. Shaina lives in Raleigh, NC with her boyfriend Jared, and her two dogs Neo and Carl!

Laura

Bridesmaid

Laura is my cousin! We’ve had many great memories growing up — from throwing toilet paper wads in the ceiling at restaurants to being “sneaky” at my grandma’s house. We clearly couldn’t be trusted when we were together! Our conversations usually consist of bonding over our anxiety and love for plants. She’s my go-to plant expert when I think I’ve killed one! Laura lives in New Jersey with her husband Chris, daughter Madison, son Matthew, dog Charlie, chickens and TONS of plants!

Kelsey

Bridesmaid

Kelsey and I met working at Food Lion together in Boone. She was my right hand woman through many trials and tribulations of working at the—excuse my language—shitty kitty. We bonded over our love for coffee, wine, beer, margaritas (okay honestly just alcohol in general) and the fact that we’re practically birthday twins! We’ve had many great memories together, including the time we got margaritas on our lunch break. Oh and the time I convinced us to drink a pitcher of margaritas and then go see a movie. (I promise we’re not alcoholics). Kelsey has recently moved to Hickory and I’m so excited to have her close by!

Hollie

Bridesmaid

Hollie and I met in grad school at Appalachian State studying Professional School Counseling. We bonded over our love for cats! I remember awkwardly approaching Hollie after class because I heard her say that she had a cat. Us cat people have to stick together! We quickly became great friends and have many things in common! Hollie lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her fiancé Gaige, and two cats Indy and Aspen. She is also an elementary school counselor like myself!

Lily

Junior Bridesmaid

Lily is my niece. She’s a pretty awesome kid if I do say so myself! She’s smart, funny and definitely her own person! You can catch us randomly making weird faces at each other— it’s kinda been our thing since she was young. Oh and I claim credit for her love for ranch on pizza! She has like 14 million squishmallows and loves to bake super cool cakes!
