The ceremony will start at 4:00pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony. Our ceremony will be VERY short and our driveway is located directly on the other side, so it is especially important you arrive no later than 3:45pm to avoid driving in while our ceremony is happening. We will direct everyone (we are expecting over 100 people) to “Boo” you while you are driving in late.
The dress code is semi-formal. We suggest dresses for women and dress shirts/dress pants (tie optional) for men. Please keep in mind, our ceremony and reception is entirely outside! The reception will be covered, but the ceremony is not (rain or shine!), so please be prepared. Also, there will be a mix of walking in grass, gravel, and pavement, so be sure to wear shoes that are comfortable for you! Most of the wedding party will be wearing cowboy/cowgirl boots (if that helps in your decision-making). We also live on top of a hill, so it is typically quite windy.
We respectfully request no children at the ceremony and reception. Please enjoy a “date night” on us!
To RSVP, go to the RSVP page or Home page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by July 25th so we can plan accordingly!
Yes, there will be parking available and you will be directed where to go upon arrival.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of our catering, we are unable to accommodate individual food allergies or dietary restrictions. The menu has not been finalized, but we will be serving a salad, type of potato, Mac and cheese, and smoked meat/brisket. If you are unable to eat anything on our menu, the good news is that we are having the ceremony and reception at our home, so we will not mind if you need to bring your own food and are happy to accommodate you in that way.
We will have a wide variety of complimentary beers and seltzers available for anyone to enjoy. Mixed drinks/cocktails will not be provided.
Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Please bring umbrellas if rain is in the forecast. The ceremony is not covered. The reception will be covered.
We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy! Once the reception (dinner/dancing) starts, you are more than welcome to take any photos.
We will have clean portable bathrooms available for you to use. We kindly ask that you do not use our bathroom inside, so that our wedding party and guests with limited mobility can use it. Save our plumbing please!
The answer is…you can’t! Please no gifts. We have both been living on our own for some years now (and now together!), so, combined, we have most everything we need! If you would like, we will have a place for cards and are working on saving up money to redo our kitchen (the only room in our home that hasn’t been gutted)!
