We met while serving in our special needs ministry at our church. He noticed me first and then asked around about me. Soon one of my friends was telling me about how this guy likes me and wants to ask me out. So the next time we served I decided to try and talk with him. It seemed like he had the same idea. We really hit it off. The only problem was we only served once a month so we only saw each other once a month. As the next serving opportunity was approaching I ran into him at church and we chatted a bit. I later found out that he wasn't able to sign up to serve and he had told me via Facebook messenger since we didn't have each other's numbers. Little did I know he wanted to ask me out then in person. So, he did the best he had with what he had and asked me with a voice memo on Facebook messenger. He asked me to go get coffee, and those who know me know I don't like coffee. So naturally, my response was "I don't drink coffee, but I can have hot chocolate." And the rest after that is history.
