Camp Woodbury! Located in Dexter, MI. Check out their website here: https://www.campwoodbury.com/ The whole wedding: ceremony, reception, and all will be at the camp. Check the Schedule tab for more details on timing.
Please RSVP here on our website using the RSVP tab above. RSVPs are due August 5th!
Yes, we're registered here on Zola and on Amazon! Check out our Registry tab above.
If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please mark accordingly on your RSVP. We will absolutely make sure all of our guests have an appropriate meal option!
If your invitation includes a guest, their name will appear on the RSVP. We truly want to keep our wedding day as intimate and meaningful as possible, surrounded by our closest family and friends. We wish we could include everyone, but due to space, we’re only able to invite those listed.
We love all of your children! Unfortunately, we cannot practically accommodate all the children of our guests and are making this an adults-only celebration (21+). We hope this gives you the chance to relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate with us!
Saturday, the dress code is Garden Party Cocktail. Think semi-formal, outdoor-friendly, and fun colors! For Friday and Sunday, there really is no dress code. Just come as you are! Friday will be a lot of setup and prep. Sunday will be rest and recovery.
Yes, our dogs will be around during the weekend and in our ceremony. Bjorn and Redmond are very excited to say hello to each of you!
A little of both! The ceremony will be outdoors, and guests will have access across a grassy path. Reception will take place under a porch awning. Evening dancing will be indoors. We plan to have lawn games, and you'll have the option to walk down to the lake/firepit.
In early September in Michigan, we are expecting mild and comfortable temperatures in the mid 70s with cooler nights in the mid 50s. We recommend dressing for warm days with a light sweater or jacket for the chilly evenings. But keep an eye on your weather app, as September can sometimes offer an early cold spell.
Yes! Parking is available right in the camp. We will have help to direct you where to park when you arrive. If it's possible for you to carpool, that may make parking easier, but is not required.
I know coming from us, you're expecting us to rough it. But these aren't your typical childhood camp cabins, they're basically tiny homes. This whole camp has been fully renovated over the last 20 years, and it shows. Cabins are equipped with comfortable beds, full bathrooms, and many include kitchens. They all have heating/AC as well! Trust us, you'll be just as comfy as in a hotel room. Check out our venue's website for more details: https://www.campwoodbury.com/explore-the-camp/the-cabins/ These spaces are very limited, and we'll reach out directly to those who can book them.
Yes, you can camp! I know cabin space is extremely limited, and I hate that we cannot house everyone. Another option is to pitch a tent! There's a lot of space on the property to pitch a tent and still be in on all the weekend fun! There's a whole bathhouse available for those who choose to rough it. If you are choosing this option, please let us know, as there is a limitation on numbers (although we don't expect to reach it).
