How did you know we were dreaming of those crystal champagne flutes?! They’re by far the most beautiful glasses in our home and we’ve never felt fancier. You’ll have to come over soon so we can toast to you! So excited to see you in June.

The year was 2012. Some would say fate brought them together, but really it was their AP Biology teacher’s seating chart. In between discussions about evolution and the mitochondria (the powerhouse of the cell), they became friends. When Sam was sick, Garrett calculated a plan to secure her phone number by messaging Sam’s sister on Words With Friends: “hey! I saw Sam hasn’t been in bio the last few days, if she has any questions on the notes you can give her my number.” The rest is history! 

Over the last 12 years, Sam and Garrett have attended 2 proms, 5 graduations (and counting), lived in 4 states, shared 2 apartments, and raised 1 chihuahua. Together, they enjoy cooking, brewery tours, traveling, and pampering their dog. Over the next 50+ years, Sam and Garrett look forward to building a family, cheering each other on throughout career milestones and all their ambitions, and raising a few more chihuahuas, and hopefully a golden.
