Sam and Evan met for the first time during their freshman and sophomore year of high school. They were partnered in a lab class together, neither one of them can seem to remember which class, if you ask. They always stuck out to each other, and looking back, it never quite made sense at the time. It was a brief interaction, but one they didn't know would shape them for years to come. Fast forward, and they didn't see each other for almost 5 years. One night on a Wednesday at a young adult bible study that Sam used to attend, an old familiar face showed up looking for a new bible study group. Sam turned around and said, "I know your face," remembering the many years ago about this one single lab class as young high school goers. Before long, Sam and Evan reconnected and started to casually hang out in friend group settings for about a year. As the year progressed, Evan and Sam became best friends. As time continued, they both realized, towards the end of that year, their friendship may have been something more. Too nervous to tell, with a couple of nudges from some peers, Sam and Evan started to hang out more one-on-one. One night on May 6th of 2022, when they went out to Somi Somi, Evan asked if Sam would formally go out with him. Of course, she said yes, and after that, there once friendship flourished into a full-on relationship, and they fell deeply in love. They spent a wonderful 2.5 years growing together, laughing, and getting to know and love each other. Dreaming about their wonderful future and their many years ahead. Until one day Evan realized he wanted to be with this girl forever, so he called up her Mom and asked for Sam's hand. Then on December 11th, 2024 in Naples under all the Christmas lights, Evan popped the big question, and Sam joyfully said yes. Now, more than a year and a half later, they couldn't be more thrilled to become husband and wife. They are overjoyed to be celebrating their big day with you and can not wait to see you all in Aliso Viejo, CA, in September!
