2020, the year of trials, tribulations and sorrows. Who knew such a disastrous year and two failed relationships would lead to the strongest love God could bless two individuals with. This led Ethan and Sam to moving back home and starting new jobs coincidentally at the same establishment. Matt Bell, being the wingman he is, stated “bro, your future wife is working here”. Ethan’s first response was, “that’s her” when Sam walked by. The first shift working together, Sam took a picture of Ethan being goofy (little did she know how much it would mean to her later on). Fast forward to Christmas night of 2021, Sam surprisingly asked Ethan “do you want to go for a ride?” Ethan chose to leave his friends and go for a ride with Sam, and the rest was history until he asked her to be his “Queen of Hearts” on Valentine’s Day in 2022. By March of 2022, they both said “I love you”. Within 3 months, she went on family vacay and on their 6 month anniversary they moved in together. On family vacation in 2023, Ethan, his mom, Steph, and Sam were floating in the lazy river at Holiday Inn in Panama City and Ethan looked at his mom and said, “I’m gonna ask her to marry me on family vacation next year.” Of course Sam being unaware of said conversation, she kept telling Ethan things like, “what if you just get a cheap ring from Walmart; we could just elope; etc”. By March 2024, Ethan realized family vacation was right around the corner and went to a family friend to create the most beautiful and unique engagement ring. With it being a “birthday” trip for Sam she thought nothing more about her mom deciding to join and her best friends as well. Family photos were planned on June 17th, just two days before Sam’s 30th birthday, and Ethan got down on his knee with that stunning ring and stated “Two souls intertwine, they met at a cross section on a jagged line, their love as sacred as water turned to wine, two souls that truly shine, it seems as if it was all planned by design, will you forever be mine?” Of course Sam said “YES” and the rest is forever!
