As a connoisseur of cheeseburgers (this is Erik as I'm sure you've guessed), if you are to take a single one of our recommendations, I hope that it is to stop at In-N-Out burger on your way up to Solitude! It is on the way up the canyon, and for all of our East Coasters, it lives up to the hype! Get yourself a Double-Double and thank me at the reception.
Go and get yourselves the best Mexican food OF ALL TIME!!! This place was on the Food Network and we highly suggest making a pit stop on your way to the airport.
About 4 hours from Salt Lake, but it feels like you're on Mars! My (Erik's) favorite national park, and highly recommend checking it out if you're able.
Around 5 hours from Salt Lake, but definitely worth the trip! Be sure to check out Jackson Hole, and if you have the time try and hit Yellowstone as well.
Only an hour from Bryce Canyon, so definitely try and make the trip if you head down South!
You can try and tie this into a trip with the Grand Tetons! It is only an hour North of the park and is a must see.
Super close to Solitude and there are tons of shops and restaurants all right on Main Street.
Solitude has a ton of activities on-site available. Hiking, Mountain Biking, Scenic Chairlift Rides, Disc Golf, Pools, Hot Tub and a Spa are all located on the property and we recommend checking them out!
