We met in June of 2022 at a wedding between our close friends Evan and Myra. We developed a close connection and started dating in August. Samantha was living in Washington State and Dustin was living in Colorado at the time. After long distance dating for a year, Samantha moved to Colorado. In June of 2024, after hiking to the top of Pike's Peak, Dustin proposed.
