Samantha + Dillan share a love for country music artist Cody Johnson! When Dillan found out Cody Johnson was playing a show in town, Dillan knew it was the perfect time to pop the question!

How Dillan see’s it: I show up for a job interview, and I’m rudely greeted by the most beautiful young lady I’ve ever seen. Thankfully, I got the job. However, on my first day I got paired with the hot girl who was so rude to me. No chance for Dillan right? We hardly spoke for the first couple of shifts. I come to find out her name is Samantha. I have to somehow get a chance with her. A couple of weeks pass with some small talk but no signs of anything more unfortunately. Then, I show up to work one day to her telling me she’s moving back to California. I decided that this was the perfect time to try and show my interest in her. The next couple of weeks leading up to her move were some of the best of my life. We spent almost all of our free time together in that period. Time flies when you are having fun and before I knew it the time to take Samantha to the airport had come. We said our goodbyes and I was left with a classic the one that got away story. We talked a couple of times in the coming weeks she was all I could think about. I was a shell of myself and I realized then that I had to do whatever it took to get her back. I got a random call from her a few months later that she was moving back home! When she returned to Tennessee I went to her parents house with a group of our friends and we went out to tacos. Can you believe after all of this she didn’t ride with me to the taco place!? Anyhow, we enjoyed our meal and I made her let me take her home. Our relationship blossomed in the coming weeks and I finally got the courage up to ask her to be my girlfriend. As the saying goes the rest is pretty much history! I consider myself very blessed with such a hardworking, driven, beautiful woman by my side. How Samantha see’s it: I was working at Starbucks, Dillan came in for an interview (He claims I was rude to him but who can say). Dillan later got the job our manager at the time was good friends with dillan who put him and I at the same station. Dillan and I stood at our area in silence for what seems like an hour without saying a word. I finally got up the courage to say “Hello my name is Samantha” which he proceeded with “Hey I’m Dillan”. From then on we had a lot of shifts together and become pretty close we hung out during our breaks and even after work. I ended up deciding that I wanted to move back to California (against everyone’s wishes, Terrible Idea.. I know). Dillan drove me to the airport when the time came and we talked every once in while when I was in California. After a couple months I become incredibly homesick and moved back to Tennessee. I told dillan about the news and he met me at my house when I got back into town. We went out to dinner that Night and I drove with a friend to the restaurant (Dillans still salty about it). Dillan And I ended up hanging out almost everyday and he eventually asked me to be his girlfriend. Im incredibly blessed that dillan walked into that Starbucks one night and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.
