Our love story began in Maryland at Paint Branch High School, back in 2006. Although Dayon and Samantha shared the same friends they had never formally met. Some flirtatious banter was exchanged back and forth over the course of a few weeks. Samantha decided to write her number on a sheet of paper and give it to him at the end of the day! (He definitely was taking his time to proceed) Finally after weeks of courting two mutual friends asked "are y'all together yet" Dayon responded "Yea we are" (this was news to Samantha but she just rolled with it). After discovering a mutual love of music, and countless late-night conversations about dreams and aspirations, the rest was history! 15 years worth of memories later and we’ve loved hard and laughed often, had 2 beautiful children (Summer & Autumn), and a deepened love that was meant to be . In June of 2018 Dayon finally popped the question During the Fathers Day celebration, and Samantha said YES. While this has certainly been a journey, we can’t wait for this exciting new chapter to begin!
