Happily Ever After

Dashawn and I meet on the dating app Hinge. We matched back in February of 2021, but because of schedule conflicts we weren’t able to go on our first date until March 6th. We met at the Southcenter mall in Tukwila and ended up spending 7 hours walking around and getting to know each other. At the end of the date we made plans to meet up that Friday at the mall again. We spent the whole day getting to know each other better. On Saturday, we met up again, and Dashawn asked me to be his girlfriend. From there we have spent as much time together as we can, getting to know each other, and each others’ families, better.

The evening started with dinner at Chipotle then driving up to Bellevue for their Botanical Gardens light display. While looking at the lights Dashawn dropped down on one knee and waited for Samantha to turn around. He then asked her to make him the happiest man in the world and marry him. Samantha said yes!
