Our Story

In the summer of 2017 Samantha moved from Pennsylvania to Kansas to begin her first teaching job on Fort Riley military base. Feeling independent and confident, she found herself swiping on the Bumble dating app. In mid August Cory swiped right on Samantha's profile. The two conversed about their careers, hometowns, and their mutual love for a good workout in the gym. They decided that after work the gym on post would be the perfect place to meet for the first time. Jenette, Samantha's maid of honor, came as a wingwoman and minutes after arriving Cory stepped onto the elliptical next to Samantha. *Could you imagine marrying the person you met on an elliptical at the gym!?* After parting ways to freshen up, Cory picked Samantha up from her apartment in Manhattan, Kansas to go to a local sushi place in Aggieville (K-State college town) called Bi Bim Bap. After a delicious sushi dinner the pair walked to Triangle Park where they sat and talked about their lives before meeting one another. It was there that they both felt a connection that would continue to grow as they learned about each other.
