As most everyone knows, we met in 2004 as lifeguards on South Beach in Edgartown. After 15 years of close friendship, we got together as a couple in the summer of 2019. On one of our island hopping days during the week of July 4th, 2019 Corey tackled Sam off the boat into the ocean where we had our first smooch! Sam was living in Los Angeles at the time and after 8 months of long distance - and lots of vacations in between - the pandemic hit and we were reunited full time. We spent the pandemic on island and in August, Corey took Sam on a harbor cruise around Boston on Zero Degrees (Corey's boat) and proposed! We're so excited to get married on the island where we met, and that we love, 17 years later.
