Party Time

Connor and I have been struggling with what to call this little soiree. It's not a wedding, there will not be vows just a heads up, but it is a celebration of our marriage. We thought we'd be able to do this in a more timely manner, aka last summer, but COVID had other plans for us. So while it's a bit unorthodox to have a wedding reception two years after the vows we couldn't be happier to finally get the chance to celebrate with our loved ones and introduce the families and friends from both sides. So while this isn't a traditional wedding it's a celebration of love. The love we have for one another and the love we have for all of y'all invited.

Saying "I Do" in Honolulu

Hello all! As most of you know we eloped on August 9, 2019 while we were living in Honolulu. We enjoyed a lovely ceremony inside of a municipal building on a side street near the government building where a judge marries couples between noon and one on her lunch break. We were lucky to have a few siblings in attendance, Sophia and Gunnar to represent Connor and Kelly to represent Samantha. Connor changed in the car after arriving from work and the ceremony was lit by florescent lights and decorated with a plastic arch. We followed our vows with lunch at our favorite restaurant, Koko Head Cafe, a photography session on the beach thanks to a good friend, and a pot luck with friends on the island. It couldn't have been more perfect, and we mean that.
