Pink-Sand Beaches: Horseshoe Bay: (full service beach) The most well-known Iconic Bermuda Beach. You can rent chairs and umbrellas, have lunch in the cafe, and eat some of the best ice cream on earth. Highlights include Bermuda Banana, Toasted Coconut, and Bermuda Rum Raisin. Warwick Long Bay: (no-service beach): come prepared, but this is a less crowded option. Southlands Beach: a locals' favorite. Unknown to most tourists, don’t be alarmed when the taxi driver just drops you off in a tiny parking lot. Head down and swim, snorkel, and have one of your very best days on earth. All of these South Shore locations are just minutes from The Reefs. Grab a towel and relax! They are rarely crowded with private coves everywhere! As an added bonus, the pink Bermuda sand is never hot to the touch. All of the recommended hotels come with pools and beaches but if you are up for an adventure, we highly recommend these other beaches as well.
Snorkeling & Diving Adventures: Crystal-clear water, colorful reefs, and shipwrecks. Rentals and tours are everywhere. If you like to snorkel, don’t forget to pack your mask and fins. Snorkeling and Diving in Bermuda is a world-class experience, with snorkeling as good as the scuba diving, with coral reefs and fish on every one of the 34 beaches on the island. For diving, we highly recommend Dive Bermuda, which is located at the Grotto Bay Hotel. https://www.bermudascubagrottobay.com/. Tell Boat Captain Heinz that Elysa sent you!
