Even though Sam and Chris went to the same high school, our paths never crossed back then. Life had its own timing, and it wasn’t until years later that we were finally brought together. We were introduced by Sam’s best friend and Chris’s cousin, who were dating at the time. Our first real meeting happened at one of Sam’s Friendsgiving gatherings — a night filled with warmth, laughter, and the kind of energy that makes you feel instantly connected. We didn’t start talking seriously until the world slowed down during the pandemic. With everything shut down, we suddenly had endless time to talk, learn about each other, and grow closer in a way that felt natural and effortless. Those conversations became the foundation of something truly meaningful. On April 17, 2023, Chris proposed in Sedona, Arizona. After a beautiful hike to Devil’s Bridge, he asked Sam to marry him against one of the most breathtaking views imaginable. It was a moment full of love, intention, and the feeling that everything had aligned exactly as it should. We’re so excited to share Sedona with all of you. Getting married in the same place where we got engaged feels like the perfect way to honor our story and begin the next chapter of our lives.
