To happily ever after

Sam and Chase grew up down the street from one another for the majority of their lives, unsuspecting of the love that would eventually grow between them. They were never in the same classes, though they went to the same middle and high schools. It wasn't until the summer before their freshman year of college that they started hanging out and getting to know one another. Chase was goofy and truly himself around his friends, so Sam got to know him as a friend first; unfiltered and authentically himself. The two always flirted, but were unsure of the others feelings. Six months of hanging out in between college classes and after long days of studying led to friends helping the two realize their true feelings. Chase was scared to ask Sam out, but he knew that this one date could change the course of his life forever. Chase and Sam went for an innocent smoothie date and laughed so much that Sam barely drank her smoothie, it was effortless. The transition from friends to a couple was one of the easiest choices the two made together. That first date was all it took. From the girl he thought was cute in middle school, to a friend he didn't want to lose, and now to his forever partner in life. On Christmas eve of 2019 after only 9 months of dating, Chase gave Sam an early Christmas gift. A promise ring. Sam knew that this ring acted as a promise to replace it with an engagement ring one day. Fast forward six years later to experiences that have only brought the pair closer together, Chase replaced that promise ring on December 23, 2023. That leads us here, to this moment, to Chase and Sam's beginning of the rest of their lives. To Their Happily Ever After.
