Do I need a Passport?

Answer

YES! You need a Passport for cancun. If you don't have one you may want to start the process there is a delay because of COVID.

Is there Airport Transfer? UPDATE!!!

Answer

YES! If your booking is under our group and you are staying 5 (or more nights) you get FREE airport transfer. There should be details in your booking confirmation email. Once you know your flight information you simply email or call the contact and they arrange your transfer! If you can't find it here is the link! Complimentary Airport Transfer (If you're staying 5 or more nights) Enjoy comfortable transportation from the airport to the resort, and back, once your vacation ends. Please visit the link below and complete the form with your confirmation number, arrival details and number of guests. https://transfers.palaceresorts.com/ All other guests staying less than 5 nights will need to make their own transportation arrangements between the airport and resort.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is safe for all events including the wedding. The welcome dinner is a WHITE party on the beach! We encourage guests to rock thier best all white/neutral looks but maybe not your best shoes since we are in the sand! The wedding is Semi Formal/ Cocktail attire! PLEASE NO SHORTS OR BEACH ATTIRE. This day is not on the sand so feel free to get as done up as your heart desires. It's been a long time since we've been able to celebrate so do your thing! More than anything we want everyone to feel comfortable and have a great time so please do what makes you feel great!

What if COVID... COVID? UPDATE!!

Answer

This is our new reality and it is evolving daily so as of now this is what we know. 1. Your booking for the wedding is 100% refundable up until 5 days before your arrival date. If your lack of travel is due to COVID, the timeline is shorter. 2 The resort offers free COVID testing for guests staying 5 (or more) nights. In the event of a positive result, the resort will provide free room accommodations for 5 nights. For all other guests (those staying less than 5 nights), there is a $19.00 USD fee for the covid test and on a positive result, guests are responsible to pay for their own rooms for the 5 night period. 3. All activities and events will be outdoors. 4. We would never want to endanger anyone. We are vaccinated and following the CDC updates/news. Should the world change we will of course change our plans as well.

What is Included in our stay at the SUN PALACE?

EVERYTHING! Onsite all Food, beverage (alcohol and non-alcoholic) room service and beach service is included in your stay.

I scheduled my airport transfer now what?

Answer

Your transfer confirmation has detailed instructions but here are a few easy tips. When you arrive at customs go to block 3 or 4 (unless instructed otherwise). Head to baggage claim via the screens posted. Exit via “Nothing to declare lane”. If anyone stops you tell them you have nothing to declare. There will be rents cars and salesman near the exit continue past them to the outside. Once outside there are A TON of transfer companies look for PALACE RESORTS in full khakis and a palace clipboard. If you can’t find them you can ask at The Margaritaville restaurant outside or a nice taxi man pointed us to ours. We were at stall #64 for pick up but the move daily. See you soon!
