FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please respond before September 4, 2026.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests can arrive and be seated beginning at 4pm. Mix, mingle and enjoy live music! The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire. We appreciate you dressing up with us! Cocktail dresses (knee or midi length), suits (ties are optional), dressy jumpsuits or coordinated separates are all perfect. Please save jeans for other occasions. We ask that you do not wear white, ivory or cream.

Question

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be in a covered pavilion, and the reception will be in an open air space that is climate controlled (we'll have heating if it's chilly). If you're concerned about footwear, please know that the park paths are all paved.

Question

May I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes! If not, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Please respond for each person listed when you RSVP so that we have the correct guest count and proper seating arrangements.

Question

Can kids come?

Answer

While we love your children, our wedding is going to be an adult-only event. Thank you for making arrangements so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! A free parking lot for Glen Echo Park is located just off MacArthur Boulevard on Oxford Road. Put 5801 Oxford Road, Glen Echo, MD 20812 into your GPS. From the parking lot, follow the foot-bridge across the Minnehaha Creek to enter the Park. Signs will direct you to the area of the park for our ceremony and reception. Handicapped accessible parking can be found in the Permit Parking Lot at 7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo, MD 20812. Drive through the permit parking lot to reach the accessible spaces, which are located near the iconic Glen Echo Park neon sign. A parking permit is not required to use the accessible parking spaces. This location is the closest to Park facilities. There are also accessible spaces in the main parking lot.

Question

Will dinner be served?

Answer

Yes! We'll have appetizers after the ceremony, followed by dinner. If you have food allergies or need a vegetarian meal, please let us know when you RSVP.

Question

Will there be drinks?

Answer

Beer and wine will be available (open bar). We will have non-alcoholic options as well. Due to park regulations, absolutely no hard liquor is permitted.

Question

Did I see on social media that you're married already?

Answer
