Sam and Brady met back in high school, where a simple run-in at school turned into long phone calls, lots of laughs, and a movie date that marked the beginning of something truly special. What started as young love quickly grew into a partnership built on laughter, trust, and years of shared memories. From prom night to wedding day, they’ve been walking this journey together. Sam even found her wedding dress at the very same shop where she bought her prom dress. After graduation, their paths led them in different directions, but their hearts stayed firmly connected. Sam headed to St. Cloud State University to play volleyball and get an elementary education degree, while Brady pursued his architecture degree at North Dakota State University. For five years, long distance became their norm. Long distance tested their patience, but weekend visits and late-night calls only strengthened their bond. On July 12, 2025, on a dock overlooking Long Lake in Vergas, Minnesota, Brady asked Sam to spend forever with him. The ring he proposed with carried generations of love. The diamond once belonged to his great-grandmother, Darlene, from the engagement ring given to her by his great-grandpa, Bud. With a full heart and happy tears, Sam said, “Yes, of course!” After more than seven years together, their story continues, rooted in friendship, fueled by love, and full of excitement for the life they’re building side by side.
