We met at work—two people on the overnight shift just trying to make it through long hours and endless coffee refills. We’ve been together for nearly seven years now, and in that time, we’ve built a life full of cozy nights in, spontaneous fishing trips, Chinese takeout dates, and road trips to explore new places (as long as there’s water to cast a line in!). No matter what’s happening in the world, we can always count on each other—and a comfy pair of pajamas—to make everything feel right again. Between us, we have three amazing kids who keep us on our toes, make us laugh, challenge us in the best ways, and teach us more about love and patience every single day. Sam’s youngest brother, whom we adopted, added the final piece to our puzzle, bringing even more joy, energy, and unforgettable moments into our home.
