celebrating our love

On June 7th, 2012 Bar and Sami met at JFK airport. Sami couldn't believe that she was finally getting to Israel(!), while Bar was using Birthright as an excuse to see his family. They fumbled through the airport entrance area with their suitcases, weaving in and out of other large organized trips until they separately found a sign reading "University of Delaware Hillel Taglit-Birthright" - this was their trip! They put down their bags and began to meet people, but the only thing they can really remember is meeting each other. They were lucky enough to fall in love under the pitch black sky of the Negev, the spirituality of Jerusalem and the amazing culture of Tel Aviv. They will never forget those first ten days of their relationship.
