Natalie's Coal Fired Pizza
This is where Andy works! Visit and support the groom and his friends- live music (with ticket) or get their early and have Samantha's favorite Columbus Pizza!
The Columbis Zoo and Aquarium
Samantha used to work here! The zoo is half price during February (and usually the first few weeks of March). Asia, Gorilla, and Australia regions are all indoors! North America areas are GORGEOUS and usually empty of guests, but the animals like the cold (hello, they are soooo used to it) in the winter! The aquarium is included in your admission and it's mesmerizing. 10/10 from the Bride.
The Light of Seven Matchsticks (Speakeasy)
This INCREDIBLE speakeasy is a perfect treat before or after the wedding while you're in town! It's located at the same restaurant where Andy works, but you enter to the left, down the stairs (how perfect, a speakeasy with special instructions?!?!) Reservations recommended since it's a tight fit and a popular hang.
Scioto Mile (if it's not too cold!) Downtown park and trail
One of our favorite places in the city, this park has views of incredible Deco buildings, the river, and a running trail along the river. Once upon a time, the two would make a date of the park and the view.
COSI because you're never too old to learn stuff!
just go to COSI! It's downtown (see the scioto mile, too, it's one of our favs!), its fun, you learn things, you remember school field trips- what's not to love at COSI!
Columbus Blue Jackets
Fun Fact-Samantha took Andy to his first ever hockey game as a gift for their first Christmas together. See the jackets in town before or after the wedding.
Spoonful Records
if you don't know, we love music. One of our favorite local record stores is Spoonful. Stop in, grab some vinyl for the happy couple- wait, no, for yourselves. Enjoy the retro and the rhythmic in downtown Columbus. Then get a hotdog at Dirty Franks!
