As the wedding is taking place in November in New York, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place inside. The ceremony and reception rooms are large open spaces with doors to the outside that we will leave open if weather permits, allowing for plenty of outdoor airflow. The venue has also installed the MERV 13 filters to help with air circulation and ventilation. The rooms typically can accommodate 400 guests during non-COVID times. We will be having approximately 150 guests. We take COVID very seriously and we're confident that the professionalism of our venue, along with the cooperation of our guests, vendors and venue staff will allow for a celebration that is both safe and fun!
The New York guidelines state that fully vaccinated people, defined as two or more weeks after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, no longer need to wear masks at weddings in New York. All vendors and venue staff will be wearing masks (even though they will have to show proof of vaccination to enter). Should any of our guests wish to wear masks, please feel free to do so!
