2016 • ~A mutual friend. Alfredo and our friend worked together at Saia’s Meat Market and Samantha was her roommate/bestie at the time. We came across each others paths often, but it was never more than a gentle smile or hello. Although, apparently there was some major crushing going on behind the scenes. The summer of 2018 • ~ The flirting begins. We found ourselves flirting on social media and it brought us to our first date. Fredo asked “ Do you want to go shooting?” In which Samantha replies “Pool or guns?” This started a few weeks full of fun, laughs, and lots of love. Samantha knew Fredo had enlisted in the Army. We were both willing to take on the challenges of long distance love. We are officially a couple on July 23, 2018. September 2018 • ~Fredo leaves for Basic Training. Three months of Samantha putting a letter in the mail every day while he was there. One of Fredos most memorable parts of Basic was his mail call. Fast forward to Summer 2019 • ~Fredo has graduated Basic and AIT, his official station is Anchorage Alaska. We have officially been together for a year. Samantha’s first trip to Alaska to visit. Labor Day weekend. November 2019 • ~ Our first Military ball. Samantha’s second trip to Alaska. July 2020 • ~Samantha’s third trip to Alaska for our second anniversary. May 2021 • ~ After three years of separation, Samantha is moving to Alaska to close the distance. Abby and Samantha make the road trip from Louisiana to Alaska with the best road dog Bristol! After Samantha’s arrival Fredo leaves shortly after for Australia for a couple months. September 25, 2021 • ~ WE ELOPED! After many discussions and for many reasons we decided to tie the knot! We were missing our families that day, but it was full of love and light. With the possibility of deployment being lifted from our shoulders. November 2021 • ~ We find out we are expecting TWINS! July 9, 2022 • ~ Two beautiful baby boys came into this world. September 2022 • ~ Alfredo exits active duty military and we move our family of four back home to Louisiana. Present Day • ~ After a year of adjusting to being back home we are finally ready to celebrate our love with our families. We have encountered countless obstacles along the way but our unwavering love for each other and our family thrives. We have had many firsts together, bought our first home and settled in Denham Springs.
