Our Favorite Things

South Florida is a special place to us (mostly to Sam... but now to Tory too), and we hope you have time to explore and enjoy all it has to offer. We'll do our best to keep your evenings booked and busy, but if you find yourself with some free time, these are a few of the places we love most.

EAT & DRINK

-

– Sadelle's (Coconut Grove or Wynwood): A tower of bagels & lox...need we say more? – Pura Vida: A Miami staple for breakfast, smoothies, and coffee. – Zak the Baker: Incredible pastries and a great breakfast menu. – Lido Bayside Grill at The Standard Hotel: You can't beat the vibes or the views right on the bay. – La Sandwicherie: Huge sandwiches and a local favorite. Great when hungover... – Joe's Stone Crab: A South Beach icon known more as a dinner spot, but has the same great menu and takeout options during the day. – AVIV Miami Beach: If you're from Philly and missing Zahav, Michael Solomonov's South Beach spot offers similar Israeli flavors and vibes. – Sunny's Steakhouse: Great food and atmosphere. – Makoto & Carpaccio: Must-visits if you're venturing North to the Bal Harbour Shops. – The Esmé Hotel Rooftop, The Broken Shaker, and Dante Miami: Some of our favorite places for cocktails.

THINGS TO DO

-

– Beach: Your job is beach. Most of the Miami Beach Hotels have direct beach access. – Spend a Day at The Standard Spa: Relax by the bay, book a spa treatment, or simply enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. – Visit Vizcaya Museum & Gardens: One of Miami's most beautiful and historic landmarks. – Explore the Wynwood Walls: Wander through colorful murals, galleries, shops, and cafés. – Walk the Miami Beach Boardwalk: A scenic stroll along the ocean. – Rent Bikes & Explore: One of the best ways to enjoy the waterfront and sunshine. – Visit Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM): Stunning waterfront views and amazing contemporary art. – Go shopping (or window shopping) at the Bal Harbour Shops. Beautiful open-air luxury mall (Tory loves when Sam forces him to go there...). Make sure you bring your Lamborghini. – Visit the Miami Design District: Boutiques, art, architecture, and some of Miami's best restaurants.
