Travel Note
Canmore is located at the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies, 88 kilometers (55 miles) west of Calgary, Alberta, and minutes away from Banff’s east gate. The drive from Calgary’s western city limit takes about one hour via the Trans-Canada Highway #1. From Calgary International Airport, it’s 1.5 hours.
Flight
1. Airport located in Calgary Alberta (~1 hour 15 minutes from Canmore) 2. Airport located in Edmonton (~3 hours from Canmore). These flights may be cheaper, but you would need to rent a car. Just another option.
Travel Note
Some hotels have transportation from airport through Vivo Green, Banff Airporter, and Brewster Express. I find that Fairy Bus (https://www.fairybus.com/) is more cost effective. They have one way and round trip from Calgary YYC to Northwinds Hotel in Canmore

Travel Note
To park at the Nordic Center, you must purchase a Kananaski Conservation Pass (KPC) = $15 CAD. The KCP Pass can be purchased online or, inside of the Canmore Nordic Centre daylodge between the hours of 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (online link is on the website)

A taxi service will be running through the night starting at 9:30 pm going to 12:30 am. Each taxi can hold 6 people per van and can drop guests off at multiple locations near Blackstone Mountain Lodge.
